[CoC Event] Where have all the good men gone?

Well hello there dA, long time no submit. I'd say long time no see, but I see you every day.

But for real, this is probably my first submission in.. what a couple of months? And my first non-application in longer than that. While this is still for an rp group, its at least art and pretty and took me a hella long time.
I'm pretty proud of this. I think I'm finally figuring out what my 'art style' is.

I'd say that's definitely a joke except it would explain why no two things of mine have looked the same or similar. Although maybe they will start to since I'm getting the hang of it now.

Anyway, this is my submission for Once Upon a Time event. This group is so underapprecaited like really. It needs more members. More people. All that good stuff.

Because I'm the first one to submit for this event. (And we all know I procrastinate horribly.) So there need to be more people. This is too good of a group to let it fade.

The fairy tale that Gracie is from is Starlight. Which explains why she's dressed so poorly and not a princess because the protagonist is a slave, and while I wanted her to be a princess I didn't want to have to draw a princess gown. _{And Cinderella was too mainstream. //shot}

Because most of you are probably too lazy to read the actually story, I decided to include excerpts of the first and last paragraphs, because its a pretty good story, and its short too. (Its like 4 paragraphs long and while the first is super long 3 and 4 are tiny, like really.)

"A king whose kingdom was constantly imperiled by another king had an only son who had fallen in love with a slave, Starlight. Her family was quite unknown, but he cared nothing for anything but her. Angry, the queen had the slave imprisoned in a tower. A beautiful white cat kept her company. The prince despaired. His father, because of a new attack, implored him to lead the army. The prince did, and the father promised that no one had harmed Starlight and that he would see her when he returned. He led the army and utterly defeated the other king's, capturing the king himself, but the king reneged on his promise. The prince freed the captive king, and the king and queen had him imprisoned. One day, Starlight confided to her cat that she was certain he had forgotten her, and the cat answered that he was also imprisoned."

No that's not how the story ends but I'm not going to give away all of the ending. I mean come on. I'm not that evil.
